EndNote is a software program that can be used to manage bibliographies and references when writing essays or other forms of written text. Using the software Endnote was required in completing 'task 2 researcher,' and from this discovery I have found the resource to be very useful and have applied it to all areas of study.

YouTube is a global online public communications site that provides a place for people to network, inform and inspire others. YouTube is a fantastic social media website that I frequently use when it come to the learning of unfamiliar topics. I also find YouTube to be a necessary resource to have when explaining to or entertaining an audience.

Wikispaces is a space on the web where you can share work, ideas, pictures, links, videos and media (reference). 
The website Wikispaces is a useful tool when it comes to creating your own wiki, and may be a handy material to know once teaching.

Skype is a software application that allows users to make voice calls over the internet to other users within the Sype service. I used Skype as a way of communicating to group members for task 3A, and have since falling in love with the software, it's so nice to see the people you are talking to.

Jing is a screen casting computer program that works by allowing you to create images and videos of what you see on your computer screen. Jing was used in the creation of our groups PowerPoint presentation to capture our wonderful wiki creation.  Its practical screen shot features have also become useful when completing work for EDN113.

 Department of Education is a website that outlines core subjects, taught in Australia. This site identifies the specific requirements for each subject, highlighting to teachers what they should focus on for the particular year level. Department of Education makes clear what all young Australians should learn as they progress through schooling and is a guided foundation for teachers when aiming to meet the needs of all Australian students (Department of Education.2012)

The National Digital Learning Resources Network manages and distributes the national collection of digital curriculum resources to education authorities. There are more than 12,000 digital curriculum resources in the National Digital Learning Resources Network and they are free to use in all Australian schools. The resources are made available to teachers in a variety of formats that include. (The Learning Federation.2012)
